Are you an NHS, private, or mixed dental practice?

We are a completely private dental practice.

Do you offer cosmetic treatments?

Along with our general treatments including general consultations, fillings, root canal treatments, and hygiene appointments we also offer a range of cosmetic dental treatments.  These include Six Month Smiles, Invisalign, Inman Aligners, Teeth Whitening, alongside CEREC Porcelain Crowns and Straumann Implants.

How do you deal with very nervous patients?

Dental anxiety affects many people but shouldn’t get in the way of your dental health; it’s important to us that your visit is as relaxing as possible.  When you call to arrange an appointment please let us know if you’re an anxious patient and share any worries you may have so we can arrange to give you the support you need.

Do you offer dental plans?

Yes, we offer dental plans designed to provide comprehensive dental health assessments, preventative care for long-term dental health, hygiene appointments, treatment planning for future needs, oral cancer screenings, and worldwide dental accident and emergency cover.

What happens at my first appointment?

At your first appointment you will have an oral health assessment where the tissues supporting your teeth will be examined, along with lymph and salivary glands and tongue; your gums will also be assessed and your teeth examined.  Where appropriate any X-rays needing to be taken will be discussed.  You will receive preventive advice and, if any treatment is required, treatment options will be discussed and a treatment plan with appropriate fees provided.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

It is important for your dentist to have your medial history and understand your dental health needs before any examinations or treatments are carried out.  If you are a new patient we will ask you to complete the Medical History Questionnaire before your first assessment; you can download this form to fill in at home and bring along to your first appointment, or we will give you a form to fill in on the day.

How long are the appointments?

Your first dental appointment will be around one hour.  If you require further treatment this will be discussed with you on the day.

What happens if I need to see a hygienist or specialist?

We will discuss any further treatment required by one of our hygienists or specialists and appointments can be booked on the day to make sure you receive the right treatment.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment online with the dentist of your choice via our online booking form.  If you’d prefer you can book over the phone or via email.

What happens if I need to change my appointment?

If you need to change your appointment please call the reception team as soon as possible, they will be able to reschedule another appointment for you.  Please note you will be required to give 24 hours notice or a cancellation fee will be charged.

What will the costs of treatment be?

Please refer to our treatment price list for consultation prices and individual treatment costs.
